Good to know

Scores need context.

A result from one session

Each score follows the rules of its game. It is not compared with a population or presented as a diagnosis.

Your browser, your history

Recent scores and personal bests stay in this browser. They are not cloud-synced and can be cleared any time.

Hardware changes the result

Display, browser timing, device speed, and input method all affect a session—especially reaction time.

About these games

Short browser games for focused practice

Brain Gyms is a small collection of browser games with session-level scores. Results describe a game session, not a standardized assessment or a measure of general ability.

Choose a game

Reaction Time records responses to a visual cue. Number Memory asks you to recall a displayed digit sequence. Quickness asks you to select numbers in ascending order. Visual Sequence Memory asks you to repeat a pattern of highlighted positions in a three-by-three grid. Pattern Switch asks you to follow alternating Match and 180° Switch rules on a grid.

Use scores as personal session records

Scores depend on the game rules and can vary with display refresh rate, device performance, input method, attention, and environment. They are not standardized test scores or measures of general ability.
