Brain Gyms guide
Methodology and scoring
Each result is calculated from the rules of its game and describes one play session only.
Reaction Time
The game records five valid cue-to-response intervals in milliseconds and displays their arithmetic mean. Responses made before the cue are not valid reaction-time trials.
Number Memory
The game increases the digit-sequence length after a correct exact entry. The displayed result is the highest level passed during that run; it is not normed against a population.
Quickness
The game records elapsed seconds while the player selects the sequence from 1 to 50. The run ends on completion or when its four-minute limit expires.
Interpretation and limits
Results depend on hardware, display refresh rate, browser scheduling, input latency, environment, and individual session conditions. These games have no published norms or validation as medical or standardized cognitive tests. Do not interpret their scores as IQ, diagnosis, or evidence of cognitive improvement.
